(June 25, 1881, Komarno — October 10, 1947, Lviv)

Mathematics educator, captain of the Ukrainian Galician Army. Professor at the Academic Gymnasium of Lviv. Author of school textbooks on geometry, chemistry and physics (translations); logarithms. During his teaching of mathematics he introduced Ukrainian mathematical terminology. In the first half of the 1920s he taught at the Clandestine Ukrainian University in Lviv. In the early 1940s he held a position of mathematics lecturer at Lviv Polytechnic. In his final years he worked as head of the Department of Physics at Lviv Medical Institute.
